Kid-Friendly Animal Jokes

To celebrate the holidays in a jolly fashion, Pet News and Views posts several silly animal jokes that you can share with a young audience. A friendly warning: Many of these will cause you to groan.

 Q: How can you tell if your cat has been using your computer?
A. Your mouse has teeth marks on it.

Q. What is a cat’s favorite color?                                                                         A. Purr-ple!

Q: What kind of dog does Dracula have?
A: A bloodhound! 

Q: What do you get if you cross a cocker spaniel, a poodle and a rooster?
A: Cockerpoodledoo!

Q: Why do dogs run in circles?
A: Because it’s hard to run in squares! 

Q: What happens when ducks fly upside down?
A: They quack up! 

Q: What do you get if you cross a woodpecker with a carrier pigeon?
A: A bird who knocks before delivering its message!

Knock, knock.

Who who?
Is there an owl in here?

Q. What do you call a polar bear in the desert?   A. Lost.

Q: Why did the chewing gum cross the road?
A: Because it was stuck to the chicken!  

Q. What type of transportation do hippopotamuses take?  A: The hippopotabus. (From my son Jordon. He’s 9 today.)
